Like most natural medicine practitioners, I came into this profession because of some personal experience. For me, it was because I stumbled across the idea that food could affect the moods of my children, and this led to my fascination with diet and nutrition, and to the emerging field of nutritional psychiatry. My special interest and expertise remains with paediatrics, especially those with behavioural disorders, diagnosed or not; food intolerances; and digestive health. Our profession is a highly rewarding one, knowing that we make a difference to not only individuals but to families and communities. It’s been over 10 years that I have been in clinical practice, and 4-5 years writing and teaching course material for naturopaths, nutritionists and herbalists. I love to learn and want others to think learning is wonderful too!
